I’m Anderson John Heinz.
My pronouns are he/him/his.
I’m a playwright, screenwriter and poet.
I’m a former member of the Project Y and Musical Theatre Factory writers groups. I am also a former member of the New York Stage and Film Filmmakers’ Workshop, where I developed my pilot SUBMERGED OBJECTS.
My theatrical work has been presented at Joe’s Pub, The Flea, The PIT, The Tank, The Secret Theatre, NY Theatre Barn, Tiny Rhino & several of Brooklyn’s most lavish living rooms.
My full-length plays include BEFORE THE DEVIL MADE ME RUN, RITA IN THAILAND, PAINTED BRICK/WHITE HOUSES, BABY ALLEN, MY GUY IN THE SKY, THE PRINCES OF PRINCE STREET and ISLAND PEOPLE.
I previously served as Office Manager/Executive Assistant with Daryl Roth Productions and as Showrunners’ PA to Michelle & Robert King on their shows EVIL and THE GOOD FIGHT.
I was born in Mobile, Alabama & raised in Memphis, Tennessee. I’m the youngest of 6 children and a proud uncle to 15. I live in Brooklyn.
